F&B Bar Supervisor - InterContinental Abu Dhabi

We are looking for an experienced and passionate F&B Bar Supervisor to join our team. As a Bar Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring that our guest dining experiences meet the highest standards of luxury and excellence. If you have a strong background in bar management, exceptional customer service skills, and a flair for creating memorable guest experiences, we want to hear from you!

A little taste of your day-to-day:

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly:

• Oversee daily Food & Beverage operations, ensuring top-tier service and guest satisfaction.
• Lead, train, and motivate the F&B team to deliver memorable dining experiences.
• Manage inventory, orders, and supplies to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality beverages and exceptional service
• Train, mentor, and motivate the bar staff to maintain top performance
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, maintaining a pristine environment.
• Collaborate with the restaurant manager to develop new beverage offerings and promotions
• Gain understanding of the departmental goals and financial targets and support your Line Manager to achieve these targets.
• Conduct on the job training in accordance with the departmental standards and procedures and maintains a record of progress for each staff member.
• Ensure new staff complete their Orientation program on a timely basis.
• Assist with the preparation of efficient departmental work schedules.
• Handle guest inquiries and feedback to ensure a memorable bar experience.
• Being attentive to guests and anticipate guest’s needs.
• Accurately and promptly fulfilling guests' requests.
• Maintain a high level of knowledge which affects the guest experience.
• Demonstrating a ‘service’ attitude.
• Taking appropriate action to resolve guest complaints.
  
  

What We need from you:

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within a high-end bar or restaurant
• Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
• In-depth knowledge of beverage preparation, including cocktails, wines, and spirits
• A genuine passion for providing outstanding guest service and creating unforgettable dining experiences.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with POS systems and related software.
