Shangri-La Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi, offers 213 luxurious guestrooms and suites, six private pool villas, and 161 fully furnished serviced apartments featuring a one-kilometre private beach which blends modern Arabic design with exceptional comfort.

Job Role

As a F&B Secretary, you are responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to the Food & Beverage department to ensure smooth daily operations. You will assist the Director of Food & Beverage and the entire F&B team with scheduling, communication, and documentation. The role focuses on efficient coordination, organization, and maintaining high standards of service within the hotel’s F&B division.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain departmental reports, correspondence, schedules, and meeting minutes.
  • Handle phone calls, emails, and communication between F&B outlets and other hotel departments.
  • Maintain and update staff rosters, attendance records, and training documentation.
  • Assist with purchasing requests, invoice processing, and inventory documentation.
  • Coordinate meetings, events, and administrative tasks to support the overall efficiency of the F&B department.

About You

  • Strong administrative and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and Payroll systems.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting.
  • Ability to multi-task and to handle confidential information.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • 2-3 years’ hotel experience in a similar capacity.
  • High School Diploma or Diploma in Hospitality Management is required.
