Role Overview: The Elementary Inclusion Teacher supports students with Additional Learning Needs (ALNs) in Grades 1-5, ensuring they receive targeted interventions that foster academic and social-emotional development. The teacher collaborates with classroom teachers, therapists, Inclusion Learning Assistants, Individual Assistants, and parents/guardians to implement inclusive teaching strategies, differentiated instruction, and assessment accommodations. The Inclusion Teacher also ensures the effective application of Universal Design for Learning (UDL), adaptive teaching strategies, and professional development to support meaningful inclusion.

To Be Considered For The Role You Must Have

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Special Education OR PGCE or equivalent qualification in Education and a SEN Diploma
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in Elementary SEN teaching
  • A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or police check
