About This Opportunity

Ericsson is introducing the Field Innovation Manager role for the first time designed to bring new ideas, improved processes, and smarter ways of working into our field operations.

This role focuses on enhancing efficiency, quality, and delivery performance across network rollout and implementation activities.

This is a fully remote role with no nationality restrictions.

What You Will Do

  • Identify and drive practical innovations that improve field operations and network rollout execution.
  • Understand field challenges, root causes, and process gaps by working closely with delivery teams.
  • Develop simplified workflows, tools, and methods to reduce delays and improve delivery quality.
  • Support implementation teams with solutions that remove blockers and enhance execution readiness.
  • Pilot and validate new concepts with cross-functional teams before broader rollout.
  • Use operational insights and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement.

Required Technical Expertise

  • Solid experience across the network rollout lifecycle, including site preparation, installation, commissioning, and acceptance.
  • Knowledge of RAN, Radio, Microwave, Transmission, and basic RF principles.
  • Familiarity with Ericsson (or similar) rollout processes, documentation, quality checks, and implementation standards.
  • Understanding of field safety compliance, on-site troubleshooting, and vendor/subcontractor coordination.

What You Will Bring

  • 10+ years in network rollout, field implementation, or similar telecom delivery roles.
  • Hands-on understanding of on-ground operational challenges.
  • Creative and solution-oriented mindset with experience improving delivery processes.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills across technical and delivery teams.
  • Engineering background preferred but not essential.
