What You’ll Do

The primary function of the role is to perform UPS commissioning, service/repairs and periodic maintenance for Eaton installed base/products and ensure maximum customer satisfaction and loyalty. You will be working on Eaton UPS products from small 1-phase UPS to large data center UPS up to 1700kVA.

Main Responsibilties

• Follow up on customer agreements and customer satisfaction through planning, execution, documentation and invoicing of service tasks.
• Support customers in technical questions (phone and/ or mail).
• Support own colleagues in Service department and Sales with technical knowledge.
• Oversee a team of technicians and ensure high quality performance of assigned tasks.
• Participate in required training (technical, mandatory by Eaton or by law).
• Perform commissioning, service, repair and preventive maintenance on Eaton's Installed Base/products.
• Actively support and work to be in line with goals and performance KPI's.
• Secure timely reporting and ensure technical reports are done in connection to each individual work.
• Work and act in line with Eaton guidelines, processes and code of ethics.
• Cooperate with Project Managers in projects supporting in plannnig and commissioning scheduling.
• Offer support for high profile clients, providing technical advice and attending site visits as required.
• Actively support Eaton's Environment, Health & Safety culture.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• An associate's degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar field
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Experience overseeing/mentoring/leading a team
  
  
  

Skills

• Experience with UPS 1-phase/3-phase systems, battery backup, and emergency power supply.
• Communication skills
• Customer-oriented attitude
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment
