Role Summary
The Service Engineer will be responsible and accountable for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of medical equipment through applying MEDICA Group Core Values to the performance of every job, carrying out the duty with dignity, collaboration, justice, stewardship, and excellence.

Role Summary
The Service Engineer will be responsible and accountable for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of medical equipment through applying MEDICA Group Core Values to the performance of every job, carrying out the duty with dignity, collaboration, justice, stewardship, and excellence.
Job Responsibilities
- Receive repairing request.
- Plan field visit to define the machines dysfunction and take corrective measures.
- Acknowledge requests & calls from the Senior Service engineer & customers.
- Report daily to the Senior Service engineer on all tasks & its status.
- Validate the machines specification according to the clients’ orders vs the supplier order.
- Conduct first checkup on the new machines received from suppliers.
- Take charge of machines’ preparation before DEMOs.
- Take in charge machines installation, repairing, refurbishing, preventive maintenance, and retrieval.
- Utilize AutoCAD for clinical pre-installation planning and preparation of technical drawings, including layouts for dental chairs, dental imaging equipment, and related software.
- Inspection of all operating parts to ensure proper operation within expected tolerances.
- To develop and maintain excellent direct relationships with end users and key customers.
- Selling and agreeing extended service contracts which have a financial impact on department service sales target.
- Follow Medica ethics & Implement SMART KPIs
- Ensure a safe and engaged workforce and customer satisfaction, in collaboration with peers, employees and cross-functional teams.
- Follow relevant quality procedures in order to deliver quality services and identify and support the implementation of continuous improvement.
- Work safely, complying with all safety procedures, rules and instructions; and reporting workplace hazards, incidents or injuries to manager
- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma of Biomedical Engineering
- Electrical/Mechanical Engineer
- Work Experience 4 to 5 years of experience in the biomedical field, specifically dental equipment in the U.A.E
- AutoCAD experience is a must for clinical pre-installation planning and drawings, including dental chairs, dental imaging & software.
- General knowledge of electronic circuitry, trouble-shooting techniques and IT networking knowledge.
- Familiar with various types of capital dental equipment and related accessories & software systems, etc.
- Ability to communicate with workers and other members of Medical Center Staff, both oral and written.
- Ability to read and interpret technical, specifications for installation and maintenance of equipment.
- Ability to make proper estimates for repairs, and new equipment installation.
- Completes and maintains required unit specific training.
