Finance Manager - (Digital Assets/Crypto)

BlockDelta has been exclusively engaged by a leading financial services provider in the global Web3 sector to recruit a Finance Manager. The ideal candidate will have experience in overseeing financial operations, strategic planning, and compliance. This role requires ensuring that crypto-related activities align with both business objectives and regulatory standards. The Finance Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the organizations financial strategy while managing and reporting on both traditional and cryptocurrency-related transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement financial strategies to support organizational goals and drive profitability.
• Accounting & Reporting: Oversee financial reporting, including crypto and fiat transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable standards.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Prepare budgets, monitor spending, and provide regular financial forecasts, incorporating cryptocurrency market trends.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with local and international regulations related to cryptocurrency and finance. Develop and monitor risk management frameworks.
• Treasury & Asset Management: Manage fiat and crypto assets, optimizing cash flow, liquidity, and investment strategies.
• Audit Coordination: Facilitate internal and external audits, particularly for cryptocurrency-related activities.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
  
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor's or Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CPA or CFA certification preferred.
• Experience:
• 5+ years of experience in financial management.
• At least 2 years of experience working with cryptocurrency or blockchain projects.
  
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in financial tools and software.
• Familiarity with crypto wallets, exchanges, and blockchain technology.
• Knowledge of tax implications and regulatory frameworks for cryptocurrencies.
  
• Soft Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Adaptable to a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in DeFi, crypto trading, or tokenomics.
• Knowledge of international financial regulations related to blockchain and cryptocurrencies.
• Proven track record in managing crypto portfolios or implementing crypto payment systems.
