WSP in the Middle East are hiring for a finance professional with strong experience in statutory reporting, taxation (direct and indirect), and compliance within a large multinational environments, ideally in the engineering, consulting, or infrastructure sectors.
The ideal candidate will ensure our financial operations meet local and international regulatory and tax requirements while supporting internal accounting and audit processes.

WSP in the Middle East are hiring for a finance professional with strong experience in statutory reporting, taxation (direct and indirect), and compliance within a large multinational environments, ideally in the engineering, consulting, or infrastructure sectors.
The ideal candidate will ensure our financial operations meet local and international regulatory and tax requirements while supporting internal accounting and audit processes.
Your new role, what's involved?
- Statutory Reporting & Compliance
- Ensure timely preparation and submission of statutory financial statements in accordance with IFRS and UAE regulations.
- Liaise with external auditors for interim and year-end audits.
- Ensure accurate legal entity accounting and disclosures.
- Taxation
- Prepare and file VAT returns in compliance with FTA requirements.
- Support in corporate tax filings and compliance under the UAE CT regime.
- Monitor transfer pricing and economic substance reporting requirements.
- Work with Group Tax team to ensure global alignment.
- Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure company compliance with all relevant UAE and regional financial legislation.
- Coordinate with legal, operations, and finance teams to stay abreast of regulatory changes.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and risk management policies.
- Finance Support & Coordination
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Work closely with regional shared services on GL, AP/AR, and intercompany reconciliations.
- Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives within the finance team.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
- CA/CPA/ACCA qualified or equivalent (preferred);
- 5–10 years’ experience in statutory accounting, tax compliance, or audit (Big 4 experience preferred);
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT, and corporate tax regulations;
- Prior exposure to large multinational environments, ideally in the engineering, consulting, or infrastructure sectors;
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, or similar);
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
