We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our Group Procurement in the capacity of Financial Controller & Business Partner – Procurement.
Overview Of The Role
To provide financial leadership and business partnering support to the Procurement function, ensuring effective financial management, cost optimization, and strategic alignment with organizational objectives. The role involves financial planning, analysis, and collaboration with procurement leaders to drive value and achieve business goals.

Overview Of The Role
To provide financial leadership and business partnering support to the Procurement function, ensuring effective financial management, cost optimization, and strategic alignment with organizational objectives. The role involves financial planning, analysis, and collaboration with procurement leaders to drive value and achieve business goals.
What You Will Do
- Act as a strategic partner to the CPO, challenging the status quo and identifying opportunities for growth.
- Fully participate as a member of the procurement leadership team, proactively contributing to key business decisions.
- Establish finance as a true global business partner within procurement.
- Manage relationships with the Group and external stakeholders, supporting the CPO as required.
- Ensure that financial controls are robust enough to support the pace of growth and transformation.
- Education: Graduate caliber, qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent).
- Significant financial management experience in a multinational environment, with B2B/Retail/Automotive exposure being advantageous.
- Demonstrable track record in identifying and delivering substantial business performance improvements through business partnering.
- Basic knowledge of tax matters.
- Knowledge of SAP would be helpful.
Job-Specific/Technical Skills required to complete the tasks:
- Drive the financial aspects of the procurement transformation project.
- Manage financial components of global procurement contracts to ensure Al-Futtaim achieves best value.
- Ensure effective financial systems are in place globally to deliver rolled-up global savings data accurately and timely.
- Develop global financial policies for procurement.
- Review procurement budgets and present quarterly updates to leadership.
- Actively contributes to procurement transformation by working closely with leadership.
- Engage with key stakeholders, including local/global finance, suppliers, and business partners.
- Undertake projects as required by the Head of Global Procurement or Head of Global G&A Controlling, Financial Controlling.
- Establish and enforce financial controls, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with procurement, legal, and compliance teams to mitigate procurement-related risks and ensure transparency.
- Oversee audits related to procurement finances to ensure accuracy and integrity in reporting
