Financial Controller Supply Chain - Gulf & Arab Countries
Ferrero
Date: 3 weeks ago
City: Dubai
Contract type: Full time
About the Role:
Are you a financial expert with a passion for supply chain management? We're seeking a Supply Chain Controller to drive financial excellence within our dynamic supply chain operations. In this role you will oversee the financial aspects of the supply chain operations, ensuring effective cost management, budget adherence, and comprehensive financial analysis. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in our supply chain financial landscape!
Main Responsibilities:
Business Partnering:
As a business partner, you will use financial modeling and data analysis to support supply chain strategy, provide long-term financial planning, and ensure alignment with company financial goals. Your role includes analyzing total supply chain costs - from procurement to warehousing and logistics - identifying cost optimization opportunities, and leading continuous improvement across departments.
Planning & Forecasting:
You will work closely with Business Partners to develop and manage the annual supply chain budget and forecasts, ensuring adherence to Group guidelines. Your responsibilities include real-time budget monitoring, monthly cost analyses, tracking performance against key KPIs, and providing detailed variance analysis to help achieve supply chain targets.
Controlling & Reporting:
In this role, you will manage monthly and year-end closings, analyze variances, and suggest improvements to regional management. Responsibilities include investment control, budgeting stock values, collaborating with partners, analyzing industrial and commercial stock variances, supporting closings, working with Area Operation Controllers, and providing data for regional objectives.
About You:
The ideal candidate must hold a university degree in Finance or Business Administration.
You have around 5 years of experience in financial controlling, including 2 to 3 years with a focus on supply chain finance—ideally within FMCG companies, and experience in logistics is considered a plus.
You excel in budgeting, strategic planning, and possess strong data analysis skills. As a quick and efficient learner, you demonstrate logical and critical thinking and thrive in fast-paced settings where agility and the ability to perform under pressure are essential.
Your effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, together with your proficiency in SAP systems, enable you to make a valuable contribution in this role.
Fluency in English is required, and Arabic would be an asset.
