Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain fire safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular fire risk assessments and safety inspections.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal fire safety regulations.
- Monitor and maintain fire detection and suppression systems, including alarms, extinguishers, and sprinkler systems.
- Develop and oversee emergency response plans and fire drills.
- Provide training to employees on fire prevention, emergency evacuation, and use of firefighting equipment.
- Investigate fire incidents and safety violations, recommending corrective actions.
- Collaborate with local fire departments and emergency response teams.
- Keep accurate records of fire safety equipment maintenance, inspections, and training sessions.
- Advise management on fire safety improvements and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Fire Science, Occupational Safety, or a related field (preferred).
- Certification in fire safety and emergency management (e.g., NFPA, OSHA, NEBOSH).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in fire safety and emergency response.
- Strong knowledge of fire codes, regulations, and safety protocols.
- Ability to conduct fire risk assessments and safety audits.
- Excellent communication and training skills.
- Ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations.
- Proficiency in using fire safety equipment and emergency response tools.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
