Job Description

As a Fire Design and Estimation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and effectiveness of fire protection systems in various constructions and industries. Working closely with architects, engineers, and project managers, you will design fire systems that meet all relevant codes and standards. Your expertise will guide the estimation of project timelines, budgets, and resource requirements. Responsibilities

• Design comprehensive fire protection systems tailored to the specific needs of each project.
• Perform detailed assessments of building plans and specifications for fire safety compliance.
• Collaborate with architects, project managers, and stakeholders to outline fire protection strategies.
• Conduct in-depth analysis to ensure adherence to all relevant fire safety codes and regulations.
• Prepare accurate timelines and budgets for fire system implementation and maintenance.
• Oversee the installation and testing of fire protection systems for quality assurance.
• Provide technical support and guidance to construction teams and clients during project execution.
• Evaluate existing fire protection systems and recommend necessary enhancements or upgrades.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors for cost-effective procurement.
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation related to fire system designs and project status.
• Stay informed on the latest technological advancements and industry trends in fire protection.
• Ensure all project deliverables meet internal and client-specific quality standards.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least three years of experience in fire system design and estimation roles.
• Comprehensive knowledge of fire safety codes, guidelines, and industry standards.
• Proficient in using CAD software and other design tools specific to fire systems engineering.
• Strong analytical skills for assessing project requirements and developing viable solutions.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and project teams.
• Certifications such as NICET or CFPS will be considered a strong asset.
