About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Florist to join our Housekeeping at Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

• Design and create floral arrangements for various areas of the hotel, including lobbies, guest rooms, restaurants, event spaces, and other public areas, following established design principles, seasonal trends, and the Jumeirah brand guidelines.
• Collaborate with the Event Team to develop floral designs that enhance the overall aesthetic and atmosphere of the hotel.
• Manage the floral inventory, including ordering, receiving, and storing flowers, plants, and other floral supplies, ensuring that they are fresh, well-maintained, and appropriately used in designs.
• Maintain the floral budget, including tracking expenses, negotiating with vendors, and finding cost-effective solutions to meet the floral needs of the hotel.
• Provide exceptional customer service to hotel guests and staff, offering expert advice on floral selections, taking special requests, and resolving any issues or complaints related to floral arrangements.
• Create and maintain relationships with local vendors and suppliers to ensure a reliable and diverse source of high-quality floral products.

About you:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Previous 5 Star Luxury Hospitality experience
• Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs and processes
• Attention to detail
