Job Description

• Oversee sanitary and hygiene conditions during factory operational hours,
• Serve as a proactive member of the Food Safety team, contributing actively to the FSMS team
• Support the Team Leader in the investigation process in the event of product non-conformance/Customer complaints by collecting and documenting all evidence
• Conduct daily food safety and hygiene inspections at the site and perform monthly GMP audits.
• Assist the Team Leader with the internal verification of daily activities.
• Ensure product quality and safety by maintaining safe and hygienic conditions.
• Plan and maintain hygienic conditions throughout operations.
• Ensure all FSMS-related documents and records are updated in a timely manner.
• Responsible for delivering Food Safety/Hygiene training to the factory staff
• Ensure stocks of hygiene and laboratory supplies are available.
• Manage and assist routine Pest Control services.

• 100% adherence to hygiene standards during factory operations
• Timely submission of assigned tasks and contributions to FSMS updates
• Accuracy in daily food safety and hygiene inspections/audits
• Zero food safety/hygiene non conformance in external audit and regulatory inspections
• Number of training sessions conducted as per schedule.
  
  

Skills

• Regulatory & Certification Compliance Management,
• Risk assessment, Environmental monitoring, Food Safety/Hygiene Training,
• Hygiene Validation, Data analysis, Report writing and Documentation
• Bachelor’s degree in food science, Food Technology or a related field, along with HACCP, ISO, and Food Safety certifications
• Internal auditor training for FSSC 22000/BRC is highly desirable
• At least 3-4 years of experience in Food Safety & Hygiene
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
