Key Accountabilities
- Ensuring daily construction tasks are performed according to plans and specifications, meeting project milestones and deadlines.
- Implementing and enforcing safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment and minimize accidents.
- Overseeing work to ensure it meets quality standards and specifications, conducting inspections, and addressing any issues.
- Efficiently managing materials, equipment, and labor to optimize productivity and reduce waste.
- Acting as the liaison between the site crew and higher management, providing regular progress updates, and addressing any concerns or changes.
- The foreman should have a relevant vocational qualification or certification in construction, civil engineering, or a related field, such as a diploma in construction management or a trade certification.
- 3-5 years significant Industrial, commercial, residential construction experience.
- Knowledge of related trade field
