Mission

Analyze and reconstitute fragrances (by GCMS) in a variety of consumer products such as in Fine Fragrance, Personal Care, Air Care and Household.

Functions

  • Analyze fragrances (by GCMS) in a variety of consumer products such as in Fine Fragrance, Personal Care, Air Care and Household for the GCC region.
  • Work on fragrance formula reconstitution with the help of perfumers.
  • Determine the fragrance dosage of FF samples by Karl-Fischer.
  • Extract fragrances from personal care & household products by SFE or liquid/liquid extraction.
  • Run maintenance of the GC/MS/FID equipment.
  • Interact with internal departments such as Perfumery, Compounding Laboratory, Application, QC, R&D & Evaluation.


Requirements:

Requirements:

  • Bring around 4 years of working experience in the Fragrance Industry with exposure to perfumery raw materials and/or fragrances, and with previous experience in GC/MS analysis.
  • Good ability to smell with ideally an olfactive knowledge of perfumery raw materials.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Flexible yet methodical with attention to detail.
  • Good Laboratory Practices.
  • Good team-player.
  • Quick-learner.
  • Result-oriented.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.


Languages:

  • Good English Level. Arabic is desirable.


Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry studies, ideally with a specialization in chemical analysis.
