Analyze and reconstitute fragrances (by GCMS) in a variety of consumer products such as in Fine Fragrance, Personal Care, Air Care and Household.
Functions
- Analyze fragrances (by GCMS) in a variety of consumer products such as in Fine Fragrance, Personal Care, Air Care and Household for the GCC region.
- Work on fragrance formula reconstitution with the help of perfumers.
- Determine the fragrance dosage of FF samples by Karl-Fischer.
- Extract fragrances from personal care & household products by SFE or liquid/liquid extraction.
- Run maintenance of the GC/MS/FID equipment.
- Interact with internal departments such as Perfumery, Compounding Laboratory, Application, QC, R&D & Evaluation.
Requirements:
- Bring around 4 years of working experience in the Fragrance Industry with exposure to perfumery raw materials and/or fragrances, and with previous experience in GC/MS analysis.
- Good ability to smell with ideally an olfactive knowledge of perfumery raw materials.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Flexible yet methodical with attention to detail.
- Good Laboratory Practices.
- Good team-player.
- Quick-learner.
- Result-oriented.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Good English Level. Arabic is desirable.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry studies, ideally with a specialization in chemical analysis.
