Your day to day
• Engages in and supervises the cleaning of kitchen and equipment • Supervises the receiving and storage of kitchen goods • Supervises the handling of kitchen linen • During the shift, oversees the preparation of kitchen equipment for use • Responsible for supervising the stewarding operation during shift and for cleaning and maintaining food and beverage premises to high hygienic standards. • Supervises the cleaning and storage of kitchen equipment • Adhere to local regulations concerning health, safety, or other compliance requirements, as well as brand standards and local policies and procedures. • Supervises the cleaning of an hygienic kitchen • In absence of Chief Steward conducts shift briefings to ensure hotel activities and operational requirements are known • Supervises all functions of the Stewarding operation to achieve the optimum departmental costs • Supervises the removal of waste • Maintains high levels of personal hygiene for self and enforces hygiene standards for team • Supervises the cleaning of the premises
What we need from you
• Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company. • 1 years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. • Problem solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities. • Food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local government agency. • Vocational Certificate in Food & Beverage Services or related field.
