What you’ll do:

As we globally expand our digital offering at Indicia Worldwide, we are looking for a freelance Organic Social Media Manager to plan the launch phase of a new product.

Out client is launching a new brand for a restricted product in the UAE market, emphasis will be initially on driving awareness and traffic to the site. The majority of the activity will be via organic channels as there are restrictions on paid due to the nature of the product.

Key responsibilities:

• Creating an organic social media strategy to build engagement with a product being launched in the UAE market
• Creation of content calendar for pre-launch and post launch of website, advising on post content and appropriate formats/executions.
• Plan for building engagement on organic accounts to create excitement and buzz around the launch and to grow the follower community
• Feeding into influencer strategy and selection based on customer personas
• Design appropriate tracking and reporting to feedback on success

What you'll bring:

• Strong social media skills and experience in launching new products. Proven track record in building engaging organic social programs to gain traction and followers
• Extensive demonstrable experience in building a social following and leveraging social media to drive product interest and sales
• Experience of selecting influencers and working with them to create successful campaigns with a clear ROI
• Ability to work with stakeholders internationally
• Excellent attention to detail and dedication to getting things right
• Knowledge for experience in working within the UAE, understand the cultural nuances to be considered for successful delivery of work.
• Experience of working in a restricted product market such as tobacco would be an advantage

This role can be based on a remote basis in Dubai.
