General Accountant

Zapegg Tax Consultant is looking for a skilled General Accountant to join our team in Dubai. This role is essential in managing financial records, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and supporting the company’s overall financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Reconcile bank statements and oversee cash flow management.
• Ensure compliance with VAT and other tax regulations in the UAE.
• Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
• Conduct internal audits and prepare reports for management review.
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies when required.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in accounting, preferably within a consultancy or finance-related industry.
• Strong knowledge of UAE tax laws, VAT, and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, or SAP) and MS Office.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
