Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented General Accountant . The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the company's overseas financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, and compliance with local regulations. As a General Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, and providing valuable insights to drive business decisions
Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and tax laws Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts Assist in financial audits and internal audits Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making Assist in the implementation of accounting software and systems Collaborate with other departments to support financial operations
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Proven work experience as a General Accountant or similar role Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and practices Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and as part of a team Knowledge of local taxation and compliance regulations in India is preferred Additional Professional certifications are a plus Candidates under husband’s visa preferred but not a must
