What You'll Do

As a Global Process Control Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our innovation, leading and supporting the standardization and optimization of safety and function of the organizations process control systems. You'll collaborate with a diverse group of passionate individuals to deliver sustainable solutions to advance mobility, improve wellbeing and enhance modern life. Your work will directly impact the building of a baseline for the organizations process control systems and improvement plan that aligns with the corporate strategy. You will also own the return-on-investment for process control projects, globally.

What We're Looking For

  • Develop and implement an assessment and annual evaluation tool that demonstrates the real-time maturity of process control at Lubrizol’s global sites.
  • Build and execute a roadmap for improvement that aligns with the strategy of the organization.
  • Standardize, benchmark, and own the way the organization creates functional descriptions and user requirement specifications for process control projects.
  • Owns the return on investment for process control projects from a corporate standpoint. Ensures strategic process control projects are aligned with business goals and stakeholder expectations.
  • Build and maintain a global network of 3rd party integrators to be deployed to large/medium size projects and site support, where necessary.
  • Develop a skills inventory database, and a standard organizational structure for site process controls engineers. Integrate this system into the structure of the global group and clarify the local and global process control teams’ responsibilities.
  • Build, lead and develop a team of well rounded, global professionals that can support projects and sites to deliver the roadmap.
  • Work with Global Engineering team to help identify Most Effective Technologies (MET) and update Engineering standards to reflect MET, while communicating with the sites on any significant changes

Skills That Make a Difference

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering is a must
  • 10-15 years experience in a plant or project leadership role in process control and automation is required.
  • Leadership responsibility for more than one site or project teamis an asset
  • Global project management experience is a plus
  • Global leadership experience is an advantage
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% globally
