Role Summary

The Government Relations Associate / Senior Associate is responsible for efficiently managing all government-related employee services, including visa issuance, renewal, and cancellation, as well as labor card processing, Emirates ID applications, and related documentation. The role requires hands-on expertise in UAE government portals and systems, ensuring full compliance with regulations and organizational policies.

ROLE PROFILE

  • Manage visa, labor card, and Emirates ID issuance, renewal, and cancellation for employees and dependents.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE labor law, immigration procedures, and company policies.
  • Accurately process all government-related transactions through relevant systems (MOHRE, ICP, GDRFA, Tasheel, etc.).
  • Maintain up-to-date employee records and documentation in alignment with government requirements.
  • Coordinate with HR and business units to meet agreed service-level timelines (SLAs).
  • Stay informed of changes in UAE government regulations and update internal processes accordingly.
  • Handle occupational health certificate (OHC) requests and other employee-related government documentation.
  • Support continuous improvement of GR processes to enhance efficiency and compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Government Relations, PRO, or employee services roles within the UAE.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE Labor Law, immigration rules, and government procedures.
  • Hands-on experience with MOHRE, ICP, GDRFA, and other UAE government e-service portals.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and data management systems.
