Job Description:We are looking for a dedicated and experienced at least 2 years “Classroom Teacher and Leader for Grade 1”.This position is for an expatriate with a passion for early childhood education.
Primary Purpose of the Job:
Take overall responsibility for maximizing learning opportunities for all students in the grade, positively impacting student well-being and contributing to school development by achieving high-quality outcomes.
Key Relationships:
Communicate with the Principal, Vice Principal, Senior Leadership Team, teachers, students, parents, and the Taaleem Partnership Team.
Key Responsibilities:
Vision and Educational Strategy:
Develop a clear vision for student learning, encourage team commitment to achieving this vision, and contribute to developing policies and practices that ensure high-quality outcomes.
Operational Leadership:
Set clear expectations, promote teamwork, and ensure collaboration among teachers to support the school’s vision. Provide leadership in curriculum development and teacher training to maintain high educational standards.
Supporting New Teachers:
Support the induction of new teachers and foster a team spirit through recognition and appreciation of achievements.
Communication and Decision-Making:
Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, chair meetings as needed, and make informed decisions regarding consultation with others or delegating tasks.
