Graduate Civil Engineer - Water (Emirati National)

Job Description

WSP are looking for a Civil Engineering Graduate and in this role you will be an integral part of our dynamic team, contributing to the design and development of water infrastructure projects. This role offers a unique opportunity for fresh graduates with civil engineering degrees to kickstart their careers in the field of water engineering and gain hands-on experience in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers in the planning, design, and implementation of water infrastructure projects
• Conduct site visits and surveys to gather data and assess project requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop engineering solutions that meet client needs and regulatory standards.
• Utilize engineering software and tools to perform calculations, simulations, and analyses related to water systems and water networks.
• Prepare engineering drawings, reports, and technical documentation for project deliverables.
• Support project managers in monitoring project progress, budget adherence, and quality control.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in water engineering.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Fresh graduate or recent graduate with up to 1 year of relevant internship or work experience.
• Some understanding of water engineering principles, hydraulics, and fluid mechanics.
• Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and hydraulic modeling tools is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
