The Security Risk Management team at WSP specialises in comprehensive security risk management, providing robust frameworks to ensure the safety and security of our clients’ projects. Our expertise includes Security Threat and Risk Assessments, Project Security Briefs, and Security Strategies, tailored to meet the unique needs of each project.

Your new role, what's involved?

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Consultant to join our Security Risk Management team. This entry-level role is perfect for recent graduates looking to kickstart their career in security consulting. As a Graduate Consultant, you will learn and assist in various aspects of our security consulting services, including:

• Security Threat and Risk Assessment (STRA): Learn to identify, analyse, and evaluate security risks using our transparent and auditable risk management methodology based on ISO 31000:2018.
• Project Security Brief (PSB): Assist in developing security priorities and strategies that align with client objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Security Strategy Development: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create security strategies that balance high security requirements with project goals.
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect and review project information and relevant codes and regulations.
• Participate in initial RFIs, pre-start meetings, and security kick-off meetings.
• Conduct site visits and engage with stakeholders to gather necessary data.
• Assist in the preparation of STRA reports and security strategy documents.
• Support the development of security roadmaps, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and security policies and procedures.
  
  

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Security Studies, Risk Management, Criminology, Terrorism, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as Associate Protection Professional (APP), Project Management Professional (PMP), or ISO 31000 Risk Management certification are highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Confidence to work under pressure with the ability to prioritize and plan effectively.
