Join AECOM's 2025 Graduate Program

AECOM is seeking a motivated Graduate Stakeholder Specialist to join our Civil Infrastructure team. This role is designed for recent graduates in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related disciplines who are interested in combining technical knowledge with stakeholder engagement. You will support the delivery of high-profile infrastructure projects by assisting with communication, coordination, and relationship-building between technical teams, clients, government authorities, and the wider community. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both engineering and stakeholder engagement within the infrastructure sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in coordinating stakeholder meetings, workshops, and site visits for infrastructure projects such as highways, bridges, utilities, and transport networks.
  • Support the preparation of project-related documentation including meeting minutes, technical presentations, and progress updates tailored for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Help track stakeholder requirements (e.g., community concerns, authority regulations, client objectives) and ensure they are clearly communicated to project teams.
  • Maintain stakeholder databases and records relevant to project phases, approvals, and technical inputs.
  • Contribute to technical reports by summarizing stakeholder feedback, community input, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support engineers and project managers in responding to client, government authority, and community queries.
  • Assist with the preparation of communication materials such as consultation summaries, project briefs, design updates, and permit/approval submissions.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary project teams to gain exposure to civil engineering design, project management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Provide administrative and coordination support to ensure stakeholder engagement activities are delivered smoothly, on time, and in compliance with project requirements.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • Candidates must be recent 2024 or 2025 graduates to be eligible for AECOM's Graduate Program.
  • Successful applicants must have achieved a minimum GPA of 2.8 (or equivalent) and above.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with interest in client-facing work.
  • As part of AECOM’s commitment to Emiratisation and in compliance with UAE labour law, only UAE Nationals with a family book will be considered for this role.
