• Collaborate with senior urban planners to create urban development plans that align with local regulations and community needs, focusing on sustainable and efficient land use.
• Gather, organize, and analyse data on population, economic trends, environmental factors, and land usage to support planning decisions.
• Visit sites and assist in evaluating physical, social, and environmental factors to provide insights for effective urban planning projects.
• Work with community members, government agencies, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and integrate them into urban planning projects.
• Use Geographic Information System (GIS) to develop visual representations of urban layout, zoning plans, and demographic distributions.
  
  
  

Here's what you'll need

Qualifications Be working towards a relevant degree or master's level qualification in Urban Design or Urban Studies, Urban and Regional Planning
