About the Job:
An opportunity has arisen for a Guest Services Executive – Concierge to join Jumeirah Beach Hotel. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
- Promptly attend to guest requests, complaints, and requirements by understanding the issue, coordinating necessary equipment or services, and ensuring timely resolution or follow-up.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local attractions, events, and activities, and establish business contacts to support guest inquiries and enhance their experience.
- Promote in-house restaurants and facilities, make restaurant bookings, and organize additional guest requests such as transportation.
- Assist guests by reconfirming flights, arranging airport transfers, and leaving confirmation messages as needed.
- Review daily arrival, VIP, and departure lists to prepare for personalized service and ensure special attention to important guests.
- Keep the Concierge desk, mail room, and storage areas tidy and organized, and accurately log and report guest feedback or complaints for prompt resolution.
About you:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- Previous experience in a multicultural environment.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in an additional language is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in a similar position within a 5* luxury property.
