As a Head Housekeeping Attendant, your primary responsibility is to ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of Guest rooms, service areas, corridors, pantry areas, and fire exits to meet and exceed established standards.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Collect daily assignment sheet and keys before preparing the trolley and related equipment, ensuring effective task execution throughout the day in line with Standards of Performance.
  • Follow key handling procedures meticulously to maintain a safe and secure environment.
  • Attend daily briefings, communicate any operational or Guest issues, fostering improved communication and follow-up procedures.
  • Maintain and clean guest rooms, replenish used items per SOPs, arrange guest belongings, and clear Room Service trays, upholding room cleanliness standards.
  • Clean and replenish bathrooms, ensuring adherence to Standards of Performance and hotel safety standards.
  • Immediately report any lost, found, or damaged items in Guest rooms to the Housekeeping Supervisor for recording and necessary action.
  • Check and report maintenance work to the Housekeeping Order Taker promptly.
  • Clean hotel corridors and public areas, prioritizing Guest privacy to uphold overall hotel cleanliness.
  • Respond promptly to Guest requests or complaints, ensuring follow-up to achieve Guest satisfaction.
  • Inspect Guest rooms according to Standards of Performance, providing immediate and effective feedback to Room Attendants for performance improvement and adherence to the standards.
  • Uphold environmental, health, and safety standards in alignment with organizational policies.
  • Adhere to the company’s environmental, health, and safety procedures and policies.
