About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Head Mixologist (Head of Bar) to join the F&B Service team in Jumeirah Al Naseem. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

• Oversee and ensure consistency in drink preparation according to brand specifications, demonstrating expert knowledge of the full beverage portfolio and classic cocktails.
• Lead and mentor the bar team, acting as a dedicated trainer and driving skill development through ongoing knowledge sharing and hands-on coaching.
• Ensure compliance with local licensing laws and champion responsible alcohol service, setting the standard for best practices.
• Set the tone for exceptional customer service by fostering guest engagement, and inspiring team members to create memorable experiences.
• Own personal and team development by managing IDPs, conducting training sessions, and overseeing performance evaluations to enhance skills and service quality.
• Proactively identify challenges and communicate them to management while providing innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency and team success.

About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• One or two years of experience in the same role with a strong F&B background in a 5-star luxury property or a standalone/branded restaurant.
• Proficient in English and a second language (Russian or European languages are desirable).
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Micros, and Sevenrooms.
• Confident in successfully handling complaints of various severity; Experience working in a multi-cultural environment.
• Expert in Wine, Spirits & Cocktails.
