Business Head responsible of setting strategy
managing and growing the corporate finance and investment bank franchise in line with WBG
s strategic objectives to be a leading Islamic corporate finance and investment bank in the GCCSenior oversight and leadership of CFIB business including setting annual budgets in line with the WBG strategy
managing the business
product offerings
leading a team of senior product heads and transactors to achieve target fees
revenues
cross sell and market share targets
Senior business coverage responsibility and origination of CFIB mandates covering CFIB product suite
DCM
syndications
specialized finances
through senior level interface with CEOs
CFOs of existing and prospect corporate
private bank clients
financial institutions
and sponsors
Developing a pipeline of corporate finance transactions and support
s key objectives in acquiring new relationships
achieve budgeted fee income and achieve share of mind and wallet with clients
Leadership and senior oversight
and allocation of responsibilities of deal teams
product heads and provide timely guidance to complex deal issues through senior interface with customers
internal and external stakeholders
Building appropriate infrastructure
policies
and procedures for CFIB product offering and performance management benchmarks and ensure deal are concluded in compliance with PPMproduct programs and overall credit policy of the bank
achieve successful audits results by establishing sound
robust control environment within CFIB
Mentoring
managing
and developing the product heads
and transactors including yearly goals and performance assessments
Manage and retain talents and develop a strong execution bench
raise visibility of
CFIB franchise
To ensure compliance of Sharia requirement
relevant central bank and other legal regulations and ADIB
s internal policiesTo understand market and business trends and have a comprehensive understanding of all material external and internal risk factors that can have an impact of CFIB product offerings and position business accordingly
Evaluate opportunities to grow product offering suite and talent base to take advantage of market opportunities and diversity fee and geographic footprint
as appropriate
to achieve a sustainable deal flow and fee income growth
Provide leadership in collaboration to lead cross sell across the ADIB franchise including Retail
Private Banking and CapitalBuild and drive an
originate to sell
business in line with WBG StrategyPro
actively identify and churn lower return assets
Pro
actively engage with FIs for secondary market assets that are accretive to WBG book
Build and Nurture clients within the GCC region
especially KSA
Senior oversight and leadership for syndication and distribution
Ensure syndication team within CFIB is able to deliver and sell down targets in line with credit approval and in alignment with WBG strategy and business objectives
Work closely with coverage
credit and risk colleagues to ensure origination in line with the risk appetite and on market clearing terms
