Job Title: Head of Department – Corporate Services
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute innovative strategies to expand the corporate advisory services portfolio, ensuring alignment with the firm’s overall business objectives and capitalizing on market opportunities.
2. Company Structuring:
- Lead the design, planning, and execution of company structuring initiatives, including corporate reorganizations and legal entity structures, optimizing governance frameworks to enhance efficiency, tax benefits, and regulatory compliance.
3. Client Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with high-profile clients, ensuring top-tier service delivery and identifying opportunities for business development.
4. Team Leadership:
- Mentor and develop a team of corporate consultants, fostering a high-performance culture dedicated to delivering exceptional client results.
5. Project Oversight:
- Oversee multiple consulting projects, ensuring quality, timeliness, and adherence to client requirements while providing guidance on complex challenges and implementing innovative, data-driven solutions.
6. Sales & Business Development:
- Achieve sales targets by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, including client pitches, proposals, and relationship building with key decision-makers across various industries.
7. Financial Performance:
- Manage the department’s P&L, ensuring revenue targets are met, operational efficiency is optimized, and profitability is sustained.
8. Market Analysis:
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor movements, and regulatory changes to advise clients effectively and maintain a competitive edge.
9. Collaboration:
- Work closely with other department heads and cross-functional teams to leverage expertise across the firm, delivering holistic solutions to clients.
Qualifications:
- CA Qualified, Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Law, or a related field; MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in corporate advisory services, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing teams and client relationships.
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven track record in sales and business development.
- In-depth understanding of corporate structuring, regulatory compliance, and governance frameworks.
- Familiarity with market trends and competitive landscapes in the UAE.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
