Job Purpose:



The Head of Digital Marketing and Social Media is a leadership role responsible for shaping and driving the bank’s digital marketing and social media strategies. This position will lead the development and execution of high-impact digital marketing initiatives that drive customer acquisition, engagement, and advocacy, with a particular focus on key products such as credit cards. The ideal candidate will be both strategic and hands-on, with a deep understanding of the latest MarTech trends, digital and social media platforms, and data-driven performance marketing.

Principal Accountabilities:

Digital Marketing Strategy & Execution: Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive digital marketing strategy aligned with business goals. Drive digital acquisition and revenue growth through targeted campaigns across multiple digital channels (social media, SEO, paid media, email marketing, etc.).

Digital & Social Platforms Management: Oversee the strategic development and management of the bank’s digital platforms, including the website, intranet, content management systems (CMS), and social media channels. Ensure a cohesive brand experience across all touchpoints.

Performance Marketing & Optimization: Utilize advanced MarTech tools and data analytics to drive performance marketing initiatives. Continuously optimize media mix, campaign performance, and customer targeting strategies to maximize return on investment (ROI). Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and data points to inform decisions and enhance effectiveness.

Customer Lifecycle Marketing: Implement and manage customer lifecycle marketing strategies aimed at increasing customer engagement, retention, and advocacy. Use data and insights to develop personalized campaigns that resonate with customers at different stages of the lifecycle.

Influencer & Media Strategy: Develop and execute an influencer strategy to enhance brand visibility and advocacy. Manage the bank’s media mix, ensuring optimal allocation across channels to meet digital acquisition and engagement goals.

Digital Analytics & Reporting: Build and maintain a robust digital analytics framework to track, measure, and report on the effectiveness of digital campaigns. Leverage insights to improve digital marketing performance and inform future strategies.

Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management: Lead and mentor a growing digital marketing team. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including brand, creative, and technology teams, to align digital marketing efforts with broader business and marketing strategies

Requirements:

Education And Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, or related field

12+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a proven track record of leading digital acquisition and social media strategies. At least 3 years in a digital leadership role

Expertise in MarTech tools and platforms, including CMS, CRM systems, and analytics tools.

Strong experience in performance marketing and media optimization.

Deep knowledge of digital platforms, including social media, search, programmatic advertising, and influencer marketing.

Proficient in digital analytics and data-driven decision-making.

Ability to develop strategic roadmaps for digital platforms (website, intranet, and social).

Experience in managing customer lifecycle marketing campaigns.

Proven leadership capabilities, with experience managing teams and working cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
