Hantec Markets - Head of Institutional Sales

The Head of Institutional Sales is responsible for the growth and management of the institutional sales desk. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting the institutional brand through direct sales, attending events, networking with brokers, technology providers, and fund administrators serving the institutional market.

  • Implement effective sales strategies to acquire new institutional clients and expand the existing client base that requires hedging, income growth and speculation.
  • Understand the investment objectives, risk appetite, and requirements of new and existing institutional clients, such as brokers, investment fund managers, corporate service providers, and fund administrators, and establish and maintain strong relationships, rapport, and credibility with them.
  • Monitor industry developments, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting institutional FX markets.
  • Provide seamless execution and delivery of services to clients in collaboration with internal teams such as operations, information technology, legal, and risk management.
  • Assist with generating brand awareness and leads for the institutional business in collaboration with the marketing department.
  • Develop and implement new processes and functions in accordance with the offerings and/or the clients' needs.

  • Have a proven track record of sales management within FX or CFD brokers
  • Have at least 5 years of institutional sales experience.
  • Proven analytical, problem solving, numerical & verbal reasoning skills.
  • Are a skilled negotiator, able to build and leverage relationships at senior levels.
  • Demonstrated track record of building and maintaining relationships with institutional clients
  • Strong understanding of institutional CFDs, trade lifecycle and risk management strategies.
  • Based in London
