Role Overview

The Head of Production / Producer will oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initial discussions to final delivery. This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of the production process, and the ability to manage complex projects across various stages, including pre-production, capture, post-production, and delivery. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing budgets, liaising with clients and stakeholders, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.

Responsibilities

• Client and Stakeholder Management:
• Serve as the primary liaison between clients and key internal stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
• Engage in initial conversations, deal negotiations, and contract signing with clients, ensuring all agreements are legally secured and in place.
• Project Management:
• Oversee the entire project lifecycle, including preparation, capture/shoot, post-production, and final delivery, ensuring that each phase is executed smoothly and efficiently.
• Manage the bidding process for projects, including budgeting and resource allocation, to ensure financial goals are met.
• Production Leadership:
• Manage the setup and launch of production stages, ensuring that they open on time according to contractual agreements.
• Source and secure freelance crew and talent as required for each project, ensuring that all roles are filled with qualified professionals.
• Ensure legal agreements are in place for all aspects of the project, including client, talent, and rights agreements.
• Operational Oversight:
• Coordinate with Client on business development topics such as billing, contracts, and other related matters.
• Provide leadership and support during training, stage setup, and certification processes, ensuring that all team members are prepared and that stages meet required standards.
  

Qualifications

• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Film, Communications, or a related field.
• Experience:
• 5+ years of experience as a Producer in commercial work, including television, advertising, film, volumetric video, and/or mixed reality technologies (AR/VR/MR/XR).
• Experience as a Line Producer is preferred, with a strong track record of managing complex projects from concept to completion.
• Skills:
• Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong budgeting and financial management abilities.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to liaise effectively between clients and internal teams.
