Synopsis
The purpose of this role is to support the Global Sales & Distribution team with the aim of maximizing value to the organization. The role will be responsible for leading the activities of four core business areas:

- Global Account Management
- Sales Steering & Business Development
- Sales Products & Channel Strategy
- Sales Enablement (Sales Support, Operations, Systems)
Accountabilities
- Develop and grow Etihad’s Global Account team responsible for a USD 1b portfolio across global Corporates, TMCs, OTAs, and Specialty agencies
- Drive the Sales Steering & Business Development function to provide timely support to Field Sales to maximize local sales performance leveraging data and insights
- Ensure the newly developed Sales Support function provides meaningful inside sales support to Field Sales and continues to innovate to operate efficiently
- Manage Sales Products & Channel Strategy to develop innovative products and strategies to support Field Sales and Global Accounts to deliver high quality revenue in line with our company objectives
- Project manage strategic system developments carried by the Sales Enablement team to support the overall Sales function
- Undertake strategic analysis on a project-by-project basis for the development of the Sales function. Presenting strategic analysis and options up to senior level
- Education: Masters Degree
- Post holder must have at least 10 years ’ experience in corporate and strategic project management and advisory domain within the airline industry with a minimum of 5 years of senior management level experience in commercial airline functions including Sales, Commercial Strategy and Revenue Management with a proven track record of success
