We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join The Goltens team as the Head of Technical Services in Dubai. This leadership role involves close collaboration with Department Managers to drive efficiency, develop competencies, and contribute to the overall growth and strategy of the company. Specifically, we seek someone with a strong background in the maritime sector, coming from a ship repair background. The successful candidate will provide guidance to Department Managers overseeing technical service, support competency development, lead recruitment efforts, and formulate strategies to enhance technical depth. Moreover, they must have proven experience in managing service teams, ensuring effective execution of projects and fostering a high-performing technical department. Establishing performance metrics, cross-training programs, and effective asset management are also critical aspects of this role. Collaborating with the Sales Department during contract reviews ensures proper documentation for specific job orders. Overall, we aim to find a candidate who can actively shape Goltens’ technical operations, meet financial and operational objectives, and drive continuous improvement in technical department strategies.
