The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in diagnosing and managing both benign and malignant hematologic disorders, with a strong commitment to evidence-based care and multidisciplinary collaboration.

We are seeking a highly qualified and culturally attuned Consultant Hematologist to join a leading tertiary care hospital in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in diagnosing and managing both benign and malignant hematologic disorders, with a strong commitment to evidence-based care and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and manage hematologic conditions, including:
- Anemia, thrombocytopenia, leukemias, lymphomas, myeloma
- Hemophilia, sickle cell disease, and clotting disorders
- Oversee bone marrow biopsy procedures, transfusion protocols, and chemotherapy regimens
- Collaborate with oncology, pathology, and radiology teams for integrated patient care
- Provide consultative services to inpatient and outpatient units
- Participate in tumor boards, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives
- Educate patients and families on disease management and treatment plans
- Contribute to academic teaching and CME programs
- Certification: Board-certified in Hematology (e.g., American Board, Royal College, or equivalent)
- Licensure: DOH (HAAD) license or eligibility required
- Experience: Minimum 5 years post-specialization in a tertiary or academic hospital setting
- Proven expertise in both benign and malignant hematologic conditions
- Strong diagnostic, procedural, and communication skills
