Overview
The HIM Administrator is primarily responsible for the maintenance and management of the patient's electronic
medical record (EMR) through the quantitative and qualitative analysis of the patient's record to ensure the consents
meet the requirements for completion as established by the Joint Commission International Accreditation standards;
Department of Health- Abu Dhabi (DOH) standards; and Healthpoint policies and guidelines.
Responsibilities
Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Information Management Or Minimum Associates of Science degree in Health
Information Technology, Bachelor of Technology
related or healthcare related bachelor degree.
2+ Years experience in a Health Information Management or Medical Records Department. Experience utilizing health information system (HIS)
software.

Responsibilities
- Releasing medical reports to patients face-to-face and via patients emails.
- Releasing Radiology images.
- Monitoring pending reports based on patients requests.
- Uploading urgent clinical records and surgical consents.
- Auditing daily physicians documentation ( both Note Type and TAT of all encounters; OP,IP & DS).
- Accepting calls from ADTC call center for urgent request by patients ( Handling business portal of sleep study referrals & ADNOC requests for medical reports).
- Educating physicians on policies and documentations deficiencies.
- Daily patients in ROI = 70 to 100+
- Uploading reports from OPD daily average = 100+
