Housekeeper – Private Family Residence

A private family based in Dubai is seeking a reliable, experienced Housekeeper to support the smooth day-to-day running of their home. The role focuses primarily on housekeeping and cooking, with occasional support around a baby when needed. This is a supportive household role, not a nanny position.

The ideal candidate is professional, discreet, and comfortable working in a family home with high standards, while clearly understanding boundaries and responsibilities.

• Daily cleaning and upkeep of the home to a high standard, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and living areas
• Laundry management, including washing, ironing, steaming, folding, and proper organisation of clothing
• Basic to intermediate cooking for the household, including preparing simple, healthy meals and assisting with meal preparation as needed
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and food storage areas
• Occasional assistance with the baby when required, such as supervision, helping during transitions, or supporting the parents — not primary childcare
• Keeping household supplies stocked and notifying the family when items need replenishing
• Following household routines, hygiene standards, and instructions carefully
• Maintaining discretion, privacy, and professionalism at all times

• Previous experience working as a housekeeper or maid in a private household
• Comfortable working in a home with a baby and following the parents’ instructions closely
• Fluent English is strongly preferred to ensure clear communication and instructions
• Calm, respectful, and professional attitude
• Well-organised, reliable, and attentive to detail
• Able to take direction while also working independently when required
• Understanding of boundaries — supportive with family life but not acting as a second parent
• Trustworthy, discreet, and respectful of the family’s privacy
