About The Role

The Housekeeping Supervisor assists the Housekeeping Manager and Assistant Housekeeping Manager in executing the day-to-day operational requirements of the department.

Main Duties/Description

What you will do

• Directly responsible for the day-to-day key processes in his/her area of work.
• Actively participates in briefings and meetings. Assumes training responsibilities when required; demonstrates a high degree of standards awareness; promotes teamwork and acts as role model. Attends all scheduled training sessions.
• Displays warmth, care and genuine enthusiasm when dealing with guests and internal customers; lives the Golden Rule.
• Adheres to the hotel's code of conduct and grooming & hygiene standards.
• Maintains a clean and orderly work area and promotes a safe working environment
• Possesses a high degree of product knowledge and relevant technical skills. Keeps abreast of events in the hotel.
• Inspects guest rooms and public areas as assigned and in accordance with hotel standards; stocks and maintains the linen closet.
• Anticipates guest needs and takes ownership of guest concerns and requests; acts decisively to ensure guest satisfaction
• Assists in general department administration and in routine inventory taking of supplies and operating equipment.
• Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by the Director of Housekeeping, Housekeeping Manager and Assistant Director of Rooms.
  
  

What You Bring

• A minimum of at least 2 to 3 years of experience in the similar role in a luxury brand
• An outgoing personality and a can-do approach to an assigned task
• High level of understanding and knowledge of Housekeeping and Rooms operations
• Proficient in English (speaking, reading, writing)
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
