As a Human Resources Manager - Industrial Relations, you will support the development and implementation of strategies and resources to support the Group to effectively navigate the global industrial relations landscape. Deliver specialist support on industrial relations matters and work closely with key stakeholders including HR Business Partners, legal counsel, and leaders from across the business to deliver positive industrial relations outcomes to support business growth.

As a Human Resources Manager - Industrial Relations, you will support the development and implementation of strategies and resources to support the Group to effectively navigate the global industrial relations landscape. Deliver specialist support on industrial relations matters and work closely with key stakeholders including HR Business Partners, legal counsel, and leaders from across the business to deliver positive industrial relations outcomes to support business growth.
In This Role, You Will
- Partner with HR and business leaders to deliver an integrated, people and commercially focused industrial relations function.
- Support a portfolio of HRBPs in managing local relationships with unions, works councils, employee groups, to ensure alignment with the global framework for industrial relations and compliance with local labour laws.
- Provide industrial relations advice to mitigate risk and minimise business disruption through application of contemporary industrial relations approaches.
- Design and implement industrial relations governance tools, policies, and processes to support the proactive management of labour relations across a diverse global landscape.
- Ensure effective stakeholder engagement surrounding complex and escalated matters, including communication and updates to senior leaders.
- Contribute to the development of industrial relations capability and competencies across the HR community.
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:
- Degree in Human Resources, with specialisation in Industrial Relations, Law, or a related field.
- Experience in industrial relations, labour relations, or human resources, preferably.
- Thorough understanding of international labour laws, collective bargaining processes, and union dynamics across multiple jurisdictions, with experience navigating cultural differences and regulatory requirements.
- Proven track record in managing complex industrial relations issues including union/works council negotiations and fostering a positive work environment.
- Extensive experience with coaching, upskilling and developing industrial relations capability across a broad stakeholder group including HR and business representatives.
