HR Operations Specialist

The HR Operations Specialist plays a critical role in supporting business success and bridging HR strategies with store-level operations while maintaining high operational standards. This role involves ensuring the effective implementation of HR policies & compliance, promoting employee engagement, facilitating training, developing talent, and supporting operational excellence across retail locations.

Operations Support:

• Collaborate with store managers to identify operational challenges and propose solutions to enhance employee performance and store efficiency.
• Provide hands-on support for HR operational needs, including scheduling, payroll queries, attendance tracking, conflict Resolution, employee engagement activities and performance reviews at the store level. Compliance & Standards:
• Conduct regular visits to retail locations to ensure employees adhere to company policies, procedures, and brand standards.
• Monitor compliance with labor laws and workplace regulations, reporting any discrepancies to HR leadership.
• Assist in resolving employee grievances and disciplinary matters at the store level.
  
  

Training and Development:

• Assess employee training needs and ensure staff are well-trained in sales techniques and customer service according to company guidelines.
• Pair underperforming employees with top-performing mentors for peer-to-peer coaching.
• Organize leadership training programs for store managers to enhance team management skills.
• Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, KPIs, and performance metrics.
• Coordinate and deliver training sessions, workshops, and on-the-job coaching as needed.
  
  

Employee Engagement:

• Foster a positive work environment through regular engagement with store teams, understanding their concerns and addressing challenges.
• Organize initiatives and activities to boost morale and reinforce company values.
  
  

Reporting and Feedback:

• Provide timely reports on HR leadership on store visits, employee feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
• Offer recommendations to enhance employee performance and store operations. Others:
• Support HR projects, initiatives, and events as required.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in HR or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of Retail operations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel frequently to various store locations.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems - SAP (preferred).
