HR Recruitment Officer

Description

Performs a range of HR and recruitment related functions that support both HR and recruitment strategies, in particular ensuring the timely recruitment of physicians and other support roles. Provides overall department coordination and support in relation to generating reports or statistics as well as in administrative roles.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

• Screen, shortlist, interview, and assess candidates in line with organizational requirements.
• Coordinate and schedule interviews with relevant department representatives.
• Formulate offer letters, obtain required approvals, and issue offers to selected candidates.
• Act as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
• Communicate clearly and promptly with candidates, addressing inquiries and concerns.
• Maintain accurate recruitment records and ensure a rapid response rate.

Compliance & Regulatory Knowledge

• Ensure compliance with departmental policies, procedures, and UAE Labour Law.
• Stay updated on UAE recruitment regulations and professional licensing requirements.
• Obtain and update job descriptions in accordance with JCIA requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality of all recruitment-related information.

Recruitment Operations & Administration

• Manage, organize, and update recruitment data and candidate records.
• Ensure employee and candidate files are complete, accurate, and securely maintained.
• Perform administrative tasks including correspondence and reporting as requested by the HR Manager – Talent Acquisition.
• Assist with implementation and maintenance of recruitment software and HR systems.
• Create, update, and publish vacancies on the organization’s website and recruitment platforms.

Agency & External Stakeholder Management

• Screen and manage recruitment agencies, including contracts, renewals, and invoice processing.
• Communicate with recruitment agencies, government offices, and other external stakeholders as required.
• Coordinate flight arrangements and accommodation for new hires.
• Initiate and organize local and international recruitment drives or trips when required.

Collaboration & HR Support

• Communicate openly and regularly with the HR Manager – Talent Acquisition regarding recruitment issues and updates.
• Assist with HR policy development and attend policy and procedure meetings in the absence of the HR Manager.
• Participate in HR-related projects and team activities.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Professional Development

• Actively pursue continuous learning and development to enhance recruitment skills and knowledge.

COMPETENCIES:

• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong knowledge of UAE PQR (Professional Qualification Requirements) and related updates.
• Excellent communication, interviewing, and negotiation skills.
• Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) or similar platforms.
• Proficient in DOH (Department of Health Abu Dhabi) / Dataflow licensing systems.

Qualification

Degree in any related field, preferably administration
Arab nationalities preferred

Experience

At least 2 (preferably 5) years related working experience in a hospital or clinical environment.
