We are looking for an HR Specialist to play a pivotal role in managing and supporting various human resources functions within our organization. Acting as the first point of contact for frontline employees, this position fosters a trusting and supportive environment by building strong relationships and promoting open communication. The HR Specialist works closely with both staff and leadership to ensure the consistent and effective implementation of HR policies and procedures, while actively driving employee engagement and a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will possess a proven ability to manage end-to-end recruitment processes, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills to build trust and maintain a positive work environment. Proficiency in HR systems for data management and reporting is essential, along with a solid understanding of payroll inputs, leave management, end-of-service calculations, and insurance administration. Experience in delivering or coordinating training programs designed for employee growth and compliance is highly valued.
Candidates should have an excellent command of English and proficiency in IT and Office applications, coupled with the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism. Skills in mediation and conflict resolution are crucial, as is cultural competence to adapt to a multicultural workforce. A valid driving license is required. Knowledge of UAE labor law is advantageous. Furthermore, candidates should exhibit leadership by taking the lead and demonstrating commitment and passion. They should have a global mindset, sensing new opportunities with integrity and an open mind, while also being creative in a learning environment and bringing innovative ideas.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the recruitment process for frontline positions, including interview scheduling, candidate shortlisting, and coordination.
- Liaise with PROs for timely processing of visas and work permits.
- Ensure accurate updating and maintenance of employee information in the HR information system.
- Address disciplinary matters as needed, ensuring policies are applied fairly and consistently.
- Handle all aspects of the employee exit process, including resignations and terminations.
- Oversee the planning and execution of the annual employee satisfaction survey.
- Administer company life and health insurance programs, collaborating with brokers and service providers for optimal coverage.
- Plan and manage the yearly calendar of employee engagement initiatives and events.
- Oversee employee housing and depot office standards to ensure alignment with Arla’s policies and quality expectations.
- Facilitate and conduct training sessions on various HR-related topics to enhance employee knowledge and development.
