Job Description
Royal International Construction is a relatively new name in the UAE's vibrant construction scene, but it is one that harnesses the strengths and heritage of its founders and the expert talents of its proactive management team. The company currently employs over 500 construction experts located throughout the UAE, with an unparalleled skillset covering finance, architecture, design, mechanical and electrical engineering, as well as project management. Summary
The HSE Officer is responsible for ensuring health, safety, and environmental (HSE) compliance at the construction site. This role involves monitoring site activities, enforcing safety policies, conducting inspections, and ensuring all workers adhere to HSE regulations. The HSE Officer will also assist in safety training, incident reporting, and risk assessments to create a safe working environment and prevent workplace hazards.

Responsibilities
- Implement and enforce HSE policies, procedures, and site regulations.
- Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with safety standards and legal requirements.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits.
- Identify hazards, report unsafe conditions, and ensure corrective actions are taken.
- Assist in incident investigations, reporting, and recommending preventive measures.
- Provide safety training and toolbox talks to site workers and staff.
- Maintain HSE documentation, reports, and safety records.
- Ensure the availability and proper use of PPE and safety equipment.

Job requirements
Experience
- Minimum 4 years of experience in HSE within the construction industry.
- Diploma or College Degree in a relevant field.
- NEBOSH Certificate (Mandatory).
- Additional HSE training certifications (if any).
- IMS and auditing experience is an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and risk management.
- Ability to conduct safety inspections and enforce compliance.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
