HSE Team Lead

Black & Grey HR is excited to partner with a prominent food manufacturing company in their search for an experienced HSE Team Leader. Our client, a leader in the industry, is looking for a proactive professional to develop, implement, and oversee Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies. This role is pivotal in promoting a strong safety culture, managing risks effectively, and ensuring strict compliance with industry and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive HSE legal compliance register.
• Lead workplace safety assessments and proactive hazard mitigation strategies.
• Foster employee engagement through impactful HSE initiatives and awareness programs.
• Develop and implement emergency procedures and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Maintain and upgrade fire and safety equipment, ensuring alignment with technological advancements.
• Oversee waste management systems to minimize environmental impact.
• Design and deliver effective HSE training sessions for staff at all levels.
• Investigate incidents thoroughly, ensuring corrective actions are executed and lessons learned are communicated.
• Maintain detailed records for audits, inspections, incidents, and drills.
• Conduct HSE compliance audits and comprehensive risk assessments.
• Lead, evaluate, and enhance emergency mock drills for improved readiness.
  
  

Requirements

• Experience: 3-4 years in an HSE supervisory role within industrial, construction, or manufacturing sectors.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Certifications: NEBOSH IGC or equivalent, ISO 45001 Internal Auditor, Basic First Aid, and Fire Safety certification.
