Job Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled ICU Specialist to join one of the prestigious hospitals in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care and be passionate about providing exceptional patient care. Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care to patients in the intensive care unit, including monitoring vital signs, administering medication, and performing necessary procedures.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create individualized care plans for each patient.
• Use advanced medical equipment and technology to monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient medical history and progress.
• Educate patients and their families on the care plan, procedures, and potential risks.
• Work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment to respond to emergencies and provide immediate care to critical patients.
• Stay up-to-date on current practices and procedures in critical care through attending conferences, workshops, and continuing education courses.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to promote safe and effective patient care.
  
  

Requirements

• Basic medical degree and specialization in critical care or intensive care.
• Active and valid medical license in the UAE.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an ICU setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in using medical equipment and technology.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation.
• Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
• The candidate must have completed their education or training in a recognized Western institution.
