The Finance Executive is responsible for supporting the daily financial operations of the hotel, including accounts payable, receivable, bank reconciliation, revenue auditing, and reporting. This role ensures accurate financial record-keeping and compliance with internal controls and statutory regulations.

  • Assist in the preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
  • Handle accounts receivable and accounts payable processes accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile bank statements, supplier statements, and credit card transactions.
  • Monitor revenue postings and conduct night audit checks as required.
  • Support month-end closing activities including journal entries and accruals.
  • Maintain financial records and ensure proper documentation of all transactions.
  • Assist with internal and external audits by providing required documentation and support.
  • Coordinate with other departments for timely submission of invoices and supporting documents.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel financial policies and relevant local accounting regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  • Monitor petty cash disbursements and maintain proper records.
  • Provide financial data and analysis to support operational decisions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a finance role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Familiarity with hotel PMS and accounting systems (e.g., Opera, Sun, SAP, Oracle).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and excellent organizational skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality.
