We are seeking an experienced and passionate Indian Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing kitchen operations, ensuring the highest quality of Indian cuisine while maintaining a safe and efficient kitchen environment.

- Menu Preparation: Assist the Head Chef in developing and planning menus, focusing on traditional and contemporary Indian dishes.
- Cooking Presentation: Prepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes, ensuring authentic flavors and presentation standards.
- Kitchen Management: Oversee kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to junior cooks and kitchen helpers.
- Quality Control: Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and quality; conduct regular inspections of food preparation areas.
- Inventory Management: Assist in ordering and managing inventory of ingredients, ensuring all supplies are fresh and available.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation and effective communication.
- Creativity: Contribute innovative ideas for new dishes and specials, adapting to seasonal changes and customer preferences.
- Customer Interaction: Engage with guests to understand their culinary preferences and ensure satisfaction with food quality.
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role in Indian cuisine.
- Strong knowledge of Indian cooking techniques and ingredients.
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items.
